Welcome to What-a-Burger #13! We are a family owned and operated business in Mount Pleasant, NC and Locust, NC that serves our local communities from our free standing restaurant and our mobile food truck. We are a 50-year-old, family-owned, and operated business. We offer Carolina's finest and tastiest treats. Our employees take pride in providing the best burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, and desserts.
A GROWING BUSINESS
What-a-Burger #13 opened for business in 1969 by Marvin Bost Sr. and his wife Jane. Their commitment to fresh local quality food and outstanding customer service attributes to 50+ years of success.
The restaurant continues to be operated by Zeb Bost (son of Marvin and Jane).
In an effort to evolve and keep up with growing trends, a mobile food truck was added to the business in November of 2015. The food truck has allowed us to reach surrounding communities and create new customers in extended communities while participating in festivals and events.
